Tight Lovers

The one item of footwear I am lacking, despite the ridiculous number of shoes I packed, is a pair of sturdy, flat boots for day-to-day wear. I have many boots, knee high boots, ankle boots, mid calf boots, but all are high-heeled and highly impractical when I have a whole new city to explore!


I just haven't been able to find a pair that is quite right. Instead, I am getting distracted by accessory items and swooned when I spotted these tights. Who can say not to lovers tights? The boots are alright too hey?!

Liverpool Landed

Arrived a few days ago to a lovely apartment in the city centre, but alas, no time to shoe perve and draw, too busy IKEA visiting, flat-pack assembling (hex key abusing more like), bank account opening and phone number organising! Have only had a chance to look around the centre of town (i.e. the megalopolis that is Liverpool One), but looking forward to exploring the city more in the days to come. 

The search for employment begins tomorrow, so I thought I'd post up some Christmas cards I sent out to firms before I left Australia. These were fun to make, only challenge was to stop myself eating an inappropriate amount of candy canes whilst making the cards! Hoping to pop around to some firms and say hello in the next couple of weeks. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated! 

Summer Feet

Last post before I fly off tonight! Couldn't leave Australia without drawing these awesome sandals I saw whilst running around completing errands the other day. Today is a perfect 25 degrees, not a cloud in the sky! Will be sad to say goodbye to sunshine, vitamin D and open toe shoes but I guess its not all milk and honey here, we had a White Christmas in Melbourne...of sorts! Hail galore! 

Checked the weather forecast for Paris, where I shall be living the good life for New Years (hoorah). Rain (boo). But the Parisians are known for their impeccable sense of style, so I shall be shoe-perving to my hearts content!

The Big Move

Packing up my life to fit neatly in a suitcase with a 20kg limit, was always going to be a struggle. And predictably, the stumbling block is shoes. Always shoes.

So, I procrastinated by sketching my dilemma (rather than addressing my dilemma). Is it wrong to take two pairs of black ankle boots, both essentially indistinguishable from one another? Same could be said about the two pairs of black knee high boots. Hmmmm. Tricky. 
Somehow the empty corner just doesn't seem quite large enough. Gah.
